How do I disable PerfectMail filters and modules?

How to turn off filters, modules and other tests using the web interface?

Answer:

Your PerfectMail server has configuration options for the server as a whole, domains and e-mail addresses, and filter settings. You can configure settings for each filter, including enabling/disabling using our web-based Administrators Interface.

The "Filters" menu offers pages to configure filtering of servers, domains, addresses and content.

To adjust filter settings, including enabling and disabling specific filters and modules, go to the "Filters=>Filter Settings" page.

  • General Filter settings
  • Dangerous Attachment settings
  • Reputation Services
  • Domain Spoofing prevention
  • Content Filtering; including word lists, Bayesian filters, Content Profiling, and Spamvertizer analysis
  • Website Reputation and Analysis
  • Outbound E-mail Filtering
  • Anti-Spam Actions that can be taken on filtered messages; inluding subject tagging, reject message text, and adding e-mail headers
